waited for 6 mths and now i drive....
Dam a TT M series, yikes. I looked up the 335i online, and the picture, and spec's that came up were of a two door, I'm assuming they have both, judjung by the picture you added.
I think I'm going to stop posting,I just have very little knowledge of the newer bimmers. Like I said mine was a 318 that I bought in 2002 while I was in germany. but the car was a 1986 LOL!! I loved it at the time, brings back good memories.
This one wasn't mine but it was similar, I had the sunroof, and Mseries wheels.

I might buy this guy's '89 3 series this weekend lolz
I test drove the 335 4 door pretty thoroughly (I know a guy at the dealership so he let me just take it for a couple hours while my car was getting serviced) and the motor was sweet but the chassis was meh. Something about the last couple generations of 3 series, I get motion sick throwing them around the mountain. Only car that does that
But as for a dd type car, yeah it would be pretty sweet

Mitsubaru,
Congrats on your purchase. The Evo X MR is a excellent car, I test drove one when they first put them on the showrooms, I was lucky to get a incentive ride on one of the two allocation Evo X MR brought to the Tucson dealer.
I also owned a 335i coupe that I ordered brand new from the factory and later on modded. I think that there is no room for any argument here, you got yourself a heck of a car. The 335i sells itself to all ages, genders and social groups, I think everyone loves the 335i.
I don't know why people here would say that teh 3 series is a small car, it is a decent size sedan, not a Caprice Classic or Crown Victoria but not a Ford escort 4 doors either if you know what I mean.
When I first got my 335i I ordered the first mods available (as always), I paid the extra price but I always reserved the braggin rights on every forum to say that I have the first parts/mods on my cars, with that being said the prices of the mods came down soo much that you can have the same power accomplishment that I did two years ago for half of the price.
A vishnu procede V1 which I paid $1400 over two years ago would now be eclipsed by a Juice Box III which makes more power and cost you a little over $600, downpipes that I paid $999 now can be purchased for $600-$700. Botton line you can make this car fast with stupid money. I hope you got the steptronic, it is a total winner.
Best of luck with the 335i and by the way, how in the hell do you get 24mpg in trips to San Diego?, I have done trips from Tucson to San Antonio and Tucson to San Diego averaging 29-30mpg at 75-80mph. Are you heavy footed?
Carlos.
