135i Doesn't fit my sub-20k budget Though neither does a G8...

I'm really stating to want a IX because of the bolt-on capablity compared to the VIII's. It seems like IX's are always 30-40whp up mod for mod against the VIII's. IX's are just still too expensive.

GTO = best bang for the buck if money's an issue (HP vs $)
S2000 just too common on the road. Don't know about you, but I prefer to drive a car that's less common.

Yea under 20k is tough. I would either save more money up, or finance for a longer term to get what I wanted.

Under 20k used you will not find anything cooler than another evo.

I found a modded Evo in New Jersey. I'm reluctant about buying a modded car though. I had about 80% of the same mods this guy has. So it'd put me about where I was power wise, but but then some It's silver. Silver is a big no-no for me. BUT one of my best friends is a painter. I'm thinking, IIIFFF I buy the car, I might paint the car Graphite Grey, but leave the engine bay silver for awhile until I have time to pull the motor. We'd do the jams though Even then, for the time being, AS won't contrast too much with GG. It's not like painting a LY car RR and leaving the engine bay LY

TB and GG are the only color I want. I like EB and BBY, but not for my own car. RR looks good sometimes. LY is too obnoxious. AS is too common. WW is too clean. When I think of an Evo, I think of a dark, evil car and WW is too "nice" or calm looking. That's why TB and GG are my favorite colors
