Would Nissan have sent a ringer to Car and Driver?
Some manufacturers have been known to do this.
Though at 3368 pounds and 332 bhp the numbers aren't impossible and I believe early dynos show the car puts down about 280-290 whp on a dynojet.
I'm actually planning to test drive a 370z shortly (standard shift of course).

I'm going to guess with the gentlemen agreement that the z is putting out more than that is advertised, if they are pulling those traps.

i did 12.82 @ 107.41 in mine
if the track hadn't been cold, and i had a way around the water box, i could have gone lower.... check my other thread, and it turns out i had another unknown gremlin on my 12.8 run...

I was being conservative in the estimate time
this is bench racing but a stock evo9 does 12.9 sec to a 1/4
