I don't know if anyone's seen this, but it means I have to mod my EVO now so i don't get beaten by a stock Z lol

I don't have to lie for no reason but I went to Test and Tune on Friday(15 May) here in Tucson and I took my 07 GTI and there was a new 370 Z 6 speeds with an air filter. The guy was trapping 98 mph and running a best of 14.7. We chatted while we were parallel on the pre stage lines and he wasn't too happy. He had a CEL that he thought it was engine related and ended being his tire pressure monitor.
Been in this track for the last 7 years and I said over and over that SIR(Tucson) is one of the slowest tracks in the country, I still believe the driver never maximized the car to its max. I beat him with my modest 14.5@95mph. My summary is that you will find a huge difference between cars, drivers and tracks. This is the first 370Z in action I have seen and by the way it had the performance package(2575 tires, rear LSd,Shyncro rev).
My .2c

Would Nissan have sent a ringer to Car and Driver?
Some manufacturers have been known to do this.
Though at 3368 pounds and 332 bhp the numbers aren't impossible and I believe early dynos show the car puts down about 280-290 whp on a dynojet.
I'm actually planning to test drive a 370z shortly (standard shift of course).

My buddy runs a solid 13.8 quarter mile in his stock 350z all day, so I could see how the new 370z might be able to hit that time. It seems unlikely, but at the same time not impossible.
