nice car, I hear those are surprisingly quick and handle a lot better than most would expect from GM.

My only question is how can you possibly drive a car with no center console armrest??? I wouldn't know what to do with my right arm when not shifting, seriously.

Hold onto the wheel? lol; I'm pretty gangly, and there is nothing more annoying than bumping an armrest with my elbow when shifting or trying to hold my arm in some unnatural position to avoid banging it. I absolutely hate cars that do that to me. This is a city car so I'm always shifting anyway.

They are, I got a chance to instruct someone with one on the track, so I got to drive it. Not as quick as an Evo, but certainly a great little FWD car.

And +1 on the "hold the steering wheel" for what to do with our right arm. I HATE the extended center console armrest on the STi, thank God it collapses.

so far this is the fastest front drive around nurburing, (the turbo charged one) the thing handles like a little go kart. as much as i hate to admit it performance wise this is the best car you can get for the money.... but i would never buy it because its a chevy.... grrr

How is it for a DD?

I went with the RA for my DD. The Cobalt's are okay, quick little cars, but not what I was looking for at the time. I'd buy it over the Civic Si any day! I hope you got the LSD, for some odd reason Chevy made it an OPTION. WTF?!?!

Black looks good, though for the Cobalt I prefer yellow, I also prefer the big wing over the low profile one.
