So i have a quick question, i was going to buy an intake for my friends car just because i thought it would be kind of funny. Is it possible for me to just buy an intake off of ebay and change the filter for a better one? Will the intake piping off ebay be sufficient in comparison to other name brand intakes?

well i want to start modding his car just for fun, even little bolt ons, but will the piping of an ebay intake be ok because i was planning on changing the filter anyway

 

Its intake piping what can go wrong? as long as i fits and your not running boost through it how bad can it ever be unless there is a huge hole in it or something visible.

 

well i wasnt sure if it was possible for the piping to be so ****ty that it cracks or something really easily
