Owning a Supercar
Not that I'm aware of but I think there's an exotic repair shop here.
People with the income to purchase $150,000+ cars usually don't worry too much about maintenance costs.
Oooppps........
OP: I couldn't help myself despite reading your last sentence in your original post.

I'll chime in..........even though a Gallardo honestly wasn't in the line up for me I've talked to a few guys.
Honestly I wouldn't feel right owning a car like that. To me it screams of a lifestyle and stereotype that I cannot fulfill I would actually be embarrassed because I know I'm not a traditional "lambo" owner.
The guy I know, bought a 110K used Gallardo, not to bad. Then he owns a Scarab, 800K house, Hummer, Jeep, Corvette, Porsche, I could probably swing a Gallardo barely, but would never feel good about it or feel like I could gel with the community.
They are awesome, but could you really afford it?

Heres where you'll find better info.

By the way clutches on Lambos are worse than Evo clutches & will run you over $10,000 installed.

And the rest of the posts, thanks for chiming in.
Probably, they're a rip off here too. 175/hr for labor. If you include that, then yeah, they're fairly expensive, still not insane though. And the two dealers here would require like two week notice for appointments. I got charged 30 bucks one time just to clear an air bag sensor code. I lucked out and found a shop that has been working on Porsche/Audis forever and charges 75 an hour.
But even then, it still doesn't push them into Ferrari/Lambo territory. Had a friend pick up a 360 spider from a real estate deal (long story, but the guy didn't have money, but had a ferrari) and it needed it's 30k service. $16k. Asside from the Carrera GT, I doubt any Porsche costs that much for a routine service. Even my 60k was going to be only like 2k.

Yeah, that's sorta what I was getting at. Maintenance (fluid changes, brake pads, etc) isn't horrible, but the long interval service is REALLY expensive. The 355 was really bad because you had to drop the rear subframe to do engine work (including the 10k service checks, which were something like $7500 before they started finding broken stuff). The 360 isn't quite that bad, but if anything is wrong, parts add up FAST.
I don't know about Lambo's long interval service checks. Nobody I know ever kept one long enough to find out.

Same, that's a major part of why I ditched the Porsche. In repairing things that had gone bad (since it was 10 years old) I'd already spent a total of about 2500. And it was nearing 60k by the end of my journey with it, so I checked a few places to see how much it would be and it was going to be at least 2000. Forget that. So I put it up for sale, and finally got a steal of a deal on a car I wanted and the trade for it. Poor guy that bought it from the dealer bought it with like 58k on it.
