Nice cars, I've always wanted a Civic or Teggy for track. A friend of mine has an Evo that he tracked a ton and wound up costing him too much, so he took it back a bit and bought a nice Type-R that he races now.

Also, btw, unless I'm mistaken and some news has changed, the VG doesn't do anything for downforce without a spoiler on the car. It creates a vortex that improves the functionality of the factory spoiler. ("****s up the air" as one person said back in the day)

Crex, you mean. Unless you have a WRX.

Quote: No worries on the flaming front I think everyone can respect a "race car" no matter what platform it is.
Unfortunate that it has to be considered a full on race car before the EvoM community as a whole can respect it though...

haha, im aware of its dynamic properties. I was being facetious. it's solely for looks on my vehicle. i thought shark fins make it look fast! like sonic the hedgehog! haha. now all i need is a JDM rear bumper and im set. those things cost WAYYYY too much skrilla.

the CRX has been the REX for far longer than the WRX has been around.

true. i have not experienced this first hand yet (reading through other posts) but i dont doubt there are people here who think their **** doesn't stink.

Were you able to make it out to Miller Motorsports park for NASA nationals?!
Im very jealous of your location. Snowboarding out the wazoooo and a nice track close by!

I haven't seen him forever or I'd get you some pics, I'll see if I can find some. His buddy has a Civic hatch for the track too.

Haha they do make it look fast and they look good on wingless cars, kinda add flare to that rear part. Get a replica JDM rear! That's a must!

True, CRX has been around much longer, I just thought it was funny we were talking in the regional section on NASIOC about ways to pronounce/spell car names etc (started with someone saying sub instead of sube). And one person was annoyed with the CRX = Rex thing, since it should read Crex.

Unfortunately it's the norm of car forums, so I can't directly blame EvoM or it's members, but still. It'd be nice if someone could post a picture of a Mustang and say "hey guys!" Without getting thrashed and booed out of here. Some kid posted an SS Cobalt and the thread went crazy and got closed and deleted...

Didn't make it out for NASA at all, it's a 30-40 min drive and I don't want to spend the money on gas etc... Haven't even been out to an HPDE for awhile (did a Wide Open Wednesday where they cone off parts of the track and let you do it for 20$). Buying a new car ruins all the fun. But I make a point to at least go to every Le Mans event they have out there, even if I don't make it out to many HPDEs (which I try to do as many of as I can). Gotta make it out for more boarding this year, last year I missed out a bunch.

If I wasn't still living with the folks (rent free) then I'd be more than happy to let Evo guys chill there for boarding or track days.

we'll chalk it up to the beautiful cinematography and a well chosen touching song.

i agree though, a tear came to my eye after i saw the footage of the three of us roaring past the camera in the last shot. DAMN it sounded good! haha.
