mini coupe gets green light

didnt notice this anywhere on evom so i figured id post it. i think its badass, and want one in all black as a DD. the roofline is sick. i see it slammed on a set of bbs rs and call it a day.

any thoughts?

Sadly, just like the current Mini Cooper, I probably won't fit in it. Have to be a midget to drive those things. Really don't like how it looks, either.

Is it significantly lighter than the regular one?

Will it be cheaper?


That is some nasty looking car, as if some kid designed it in 2 weeks using Need for Speed game or something, taper the windscreen and all the rear windows then stick a Z4 hard top as a roof.

at a guess id say its a bit lighter as its only a 2 seater, but im sure it will be more expensive than the regular mini. im just interested to see one in person.

I don't like it. Its not a MINI anymore IMO, the box like roof defines the car to me. It makes as much sense as chopping the roof on an SUV, making a lowered convertible pickup truck with a spoiler on the bed, or some other "Kustom" NOPI style job.
