Sad part is Honda/Mugen fanatics will buy this up. Jus like they did with the Mugen Si here $30,000 for a 197 HP FWD civic isn't worth it to me and still had equivalent performance to the regular Si.

^im not calling you out but every one that failed in this thread....

your missing a lot....i had to explain this in another thread because most people dont know how the auto industry works....

instead of my explaining i will give you links to 2 web pages and you can do the deductive reasoning...

here is the 4 door BMW in England, it sales for 49,000 pounds....now by your logic that would be appx. $80,000....

http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/pricesand...-bmwuk,00.html

but wait....here is the same M3 in america...its only $54,000......thats crazy.. that doest add up to 49,000 pounds....

http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...djrnoB2TUOLQ==

so ONCE again.....just because a car sales for ***,*** pounds it is not a direct conversion over (they are separate car markets)......im tired of having to explain this to people...READ SOME BOOKS or something.

and to the OP....no the FQ versions are not $90,000 dollars....jesus...the same applies for the Evo too.

http://www.mitsubishi-cars.co.uk/evo...ntentContainer

man if they sold the Evo in america its gotta be like $50,000....

^ Yes yes yes i get the point but its still the principal of the matter, whether its $63K or $38K for a civic is still too damn expensive given the specs. Sorry to get u flustered .

Best CTR ever per dollar when brand new:

http://www.honda.co.jp/CIVICTYPE-R/onemake/

1,690,500円 = $18,350 USD for today

Base Evo X GSR in Japan before tax or delivery = 3,565,000円 = $38,700
Base Evo X GSR in the states before tax or delivery = $33,590

Using the same ratio (although it may not be the most accurate translation of actual price if sold in North America), the Civic Type R One Make Race would be $15,930.

This car is pretty much the same as JDM RS, comes with no LSD, crap front seats, non-HID light, non-LED tail light, rubber pedals, crap steering wheel, no A/C, no keyless system or security system, no power door lock, no airbag (even driver side). At least it comes with real brakes and wheels (whereas RS comes with really crap ones standard) and the wing.

Regular CTR is 2,700,000円, or $29,310, or $25,440 for market 'adjusted' price.

It would have been a great competitor to Cobalt SS if it made it North American market.
