Hope you did your homework on the evo , 3k oil change , 6k Reardiff/centerdiff/tranny fluid changes. Tires that last for 14k , i could go on =D

And a stock s4 , will pull on a stock evo , pretty easily. So i wouldn't exactly call them slow. But , Youll be hard pressed to ever been in the 11's in one
Those basic maintenance items aren't too different than my Audi. Even so, frequent fluid changes and crappy tires are a lot easier than what I went through. Repairs are what cause the headaches since those are more expensive, not to mention unexpected.

I was stranded 3 times in as many months: aux water pump ($500), radiator ($1300), and broken vacuum hose which caused a choppy idle and stalled the car a couple times. And that was just those three months; I had 3 years which somehow required 4 different sets of Oxygen Sensors ($500 each), two other vacuum leaks, broken door handles; the list goes on.

In terms of stock versus stock, you're wrong. I've had that race and lost. And the B5 S4 like I had is usually a tick quicker than the B6 S4 you have. I've also raced my bolt-on twin turbo S4 against an Evo 8 with fewer and cheaper bolt-ons and lost that one too. I beat him on the launch every time but he pulled on me pretty quickly after that.

Anyways, Audis are good for luxury in terms of ride quality and interior. But renting a spot on the lift at the repair shop is definitely not "luxurious."

If you think a b5 s4 is a tick quicker then a b6 s4 , you my friend are on cloud 9. Stock for stock that is. Even a "stage 2" b5 S4 , Gets walked all over by a b6 s4 w/ an exhaust/k&n/tune. Plenty of videos out there of this.

And if your paying 500$ Each for o2 sensors ... I dunno what to tell u lol

In regards to my car i was offered 15,500 As a trade. Wich was low , But i took off some parts and netted 2500 , So i pulled away with 18,000 Wich i was ok with that. Plus i stole the s4

B6S4 was one of my options for a DD. Great car, but since i drive a lot (70-80 miles each day) it wasn't cost efficient.

Still great choice....good luck with the car!

Yeah , MPG is kinda ****ty , I dont understand why audi Use's such a short 6th gear. @ 75mph Your @ 3000RPM , wich is pretty Stupid imo. Should be around 2100-2300 , That is my only real complaint about the car.

I mean i can cruise around town in 6th @ 40mph... lol useless 6th gear for the highway

Agreed! If they didn't have such a short 6th, i would be driving one right now as my commuter.

Can't wait to see the new twin turbo ones coming out

Dad has a B7 S4.

Maintenance glutton, they eat oil, understeer like a cadillac, have no rear seat room, but are very comfortable.

I'd say you made the wrong choice, but if you enjoy it's all that matters.

Maybe i got Lucky , car has records for since it was bought. had very caring owners. Mine hasnt gone threw any oil in 2k miles. Handling is meh , But Cruise control / Bose / Heated seats / ETC is very nice. I had no need for a 440hp car anymore. I never got to use it. Plus like i said i wanted something with some class. And just a TAD bit safer lol

I acctully like the styling on the b6 more then the b7 .. Dunno why just do. Plus for the price i paid i really cant complain.

Just wait, it will consume oil, just a matter of how much, has nothing to do with how its driven but how the cars are put together.

Regarding the B6 styling over the B7, you did just sell your evo for a B6 with some horrible wheels, so no amount of coercion will set your mind right, but here it is anyway.

I know , Such awful winter Wheels i have on there I might cry !! It was either those or beat up stock wheels with old tires. These wheels/tires were brand new. So i opted to take these. Wich i will probably sell since the audi community LOVES split spoke wheels like this.

And b7 vs b6 , I also couldn't justify spending an extra 9,000$ Since b7's are in the 26-30k Range. And its all Personal Prefrence. I like the lines of a b6 better.

Oh and i sold my evo , Pocketed 6,000$ , And got a car with 20,000 less miles.

You are crazy!! A 2.7L TT v6 B5 S4 stage 2 will DESTROY a bolt-on bB6 There is no comparison. They should have kept the TT and threw rs4 ko-4's on it for the next model instead of straying so far away. Now they have a v6 supercharged! All over the place. I love european cars way more then what anyother continent/country has to offer. Congrats on your ride. (should have got nogaro blue!!! The best color ever!!)

Your about to get owned.

Fast Foward to 1:00 , Thanks for playing

No destruction =(

Edit: And i believe audi's main reason for getting away from the 2.7T was reliabilty issue's. Warrenty work was killing them. Could be wrong though.
