The Best Super Exotic Car???
Of the choices on the list, the Carrera GT would be my first choice. The Enzo is close behind, but the gains don't justify the added cost.
If I had that kind of coin and could pick anything, I'd probably get the Egg. Something about it just tickles my fancy...

I think 959 would by far be the most reliable and the most drivable car of any listed, and talk about utility - I think it is the only car on the list with 4 seats! But I do get your point... it's your poll after all. Oh, and I did not vote, my vote is reserved for a CLK-SLR, by far the most technically advanced car of the lot - IMHO, of course...

new SLR is different car altogether.
Tommy Kaira cars are awesome, but they won't EVER make it to US.
I heard that McLaren will start producing cars like F1 again once the SLR is done.
dont think Tommy Kaira will set foot on US soil?
MotoRex is an official dealer for Tommy Kaira and has already shipped over a good hand full of Tommy Kaira spec vehicles...but for price of YEN to US Dollars it'll cost too much for MotoRex to legally bring the ZZ,ZZII and the Garaiya here to the US...it is possible for them to bring one in by custom order which will definately be a heavy price and wont be street legal unless registered as a collectors car which will also be another heavy price...in other words its too much for the car you might as well get yourself a big name exotic.
anyway if you look at the Blue ZZII pics i posted earlier you'll notice that vehicle was left hand drive...but i'm not suggesting that its US bound i really doubt it is but its good to dream of.

I would be killed after 5 seconds in the drivers seat.
That's more like it!

Anyone heard of a Noble M12 ???
Bloddy brutal English beast . . .
You can get them thru here http://www.1gracing.com for $50K to $75K--depending on your need for speed!!
http://www.noblecars.com/m12.html
"As it is the Noble blasts from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of something like 176 mph"

". . . The all-aluminum mill in stock trim develops 232 hp but with the addition of a pair of water-cooled Garrett T-25 turbos—one for each cylinder bank—and an air-to-air intercooler, the DOCH, 24-valve engine really comes alive. The engine receives some internal massaging as well, including, forged pistons, billet rods and a complete balancing of the rotating assembly with headers coming from Noble . . ."

Anyway, Just wanted to say performance isn't everything when it comes to super exotics!
Btw, anyone know if M12 is legal in US? Is it considered kit car? How do you register it? Track only? street legal? Does any one know any owner?
yeah i think the McLaren only had like 1,000 or so made, and i think only 20ish came to the US..if that...dont quote me, i saw it on a webpage yrs ago. they stopped making them in 98? maybe...but i'd still take a used one....you KNOW its been driven hard..but its ok cuz u KNOW ur gonna drive it hard!! lol

My vote is for the Carrera GT. I've always been a huge Porsche fan, and that car is the pinnacle of street legal performance from them. I love everything about that car. Sure, there are cars out there with higher top speeds, faster 0-100mph times, better cornering, and all that. But, that doesn't matter. That car is built to be a road car that will just rock on a track. And with the new Ceramic brakes and the new Ceramic clutch in it, you can beat the crap out of it on the track all day long, FOREVER!!!! Both the clutch and brakes are supposedly good for like 150k miles before needing replacement. I would love to own a track car like that where the only thing you have to worry about wearing out is the tires. Big, expensive tires, but if you can own the car, you can afford it.
And, I love how when you look at it, you instantly know its from Weissach. Look at any car they make, and you can instantly tell who makes it. Heritage goes a long way with me with loving cars. Look at any new Ferrari, Aston Martin, or Porsche, and you will see hints and reminders of the cars that preceded them. Sure, the Koenigsegg, the Zonda, and S7 have the #'s to hang with any car on the list, its the heritage that the others bring that just puts the newbies at the bottom of the list in my book. Give them some years, and we'll see. But you say names like McLaren, Bugatti, Ferrari, Porsche, and Mercedes, and you're instantly reminded of their motorsports history. That gives a supercar some substance. Give those others a couple decades to get some years to expand and maybe get some racing wins under their belts, and we'll see. The Saleen is getting there, but its still too new of a company for me to consider what Steve has done as historic and prestigious. I'll take history, substance, and feeling over pure speed and big #'s anyday.
Hilg
