The Best Super Exotic Car???

Same with what I've read about Ferrari's new brakes on the Enzo. Now, like I said, I have no first hand use with these things. Maybe I was off with the mileage figure on how long they last, but either way, I hear its significantly longer than normal clutch and brake wear. But, I do imagine you have more knowledge on the subject than I do, so I welcome your response. Why is it you don't like the brakes??? Just wondering. Thanks

Firstly, they DO NOT stop better. Only advantage in stopping is fade-resistance. How many porsche red brakes have fade problem??? None. So, Fade is no real issue to begin with.
Secondly, they are more prone to warping rotors and destroying brake pads, due to high temperature. This, I just heard, and am passing it on to you. I never warped my rotors or toasted my pads.
(I also have read in R&T that Enzo brake rotors were warped after some 1500miles of track use)
Lastly, and most importantly for CGT, PCCB are loud at low speed! Can you imagine driving to a fancy restaurant in your 400k car and coming to a stop w/ SQUEAL~~~ I was SO PISSED that I spent 8k just to hear my car make school bus brake noise!!! To be fair, it doesn't happen all the time. But in a 400k car(or 130k car for that matter), it should NEVER EVER happen. I personally think this is the worst part.
On the possitive side, they save 44lb of unsprung weight(good for track), and look so damn sexy in black tt. Also, they help to distinguish my car among sea of tt's(at my last work, there were 4 porsche tt's including mine. only mine had PCCB)
I think Porsche has made a mistake of under-developing it and marketing it anyway. Kind of like what Intel did w/ RDRAM(just pushing for it cuz they invested too much). I read in CGT reviews that noise is still there. I'm sure they will get it right before releasing 997tt's or 998s. But it's not perfect in GT2, CGT, or any other porsche that has it as option currently.
I don't know anyone who even rode in CGT, so I don't know anything about Ceramic Clutch. All I know is that I'm not buying that car since it only comes w/ PCCB.
Thats cool man, thanks. I wasn't trying to be a smart ***. I was being serious when I said you probably have more knowledge on the subject. I just figured with your name, you have more Porsche knowledge than I do, so I asked. I guess I need to read up a little more on the PCCB subject or ask around. I don't know anyone personally with PCCB, so I'll have to check around. And, hell, I probably was off on the mileage figure, who knows. I just figured that with Porsche being so famous for their brakes, when they come up with something that they say is good and I hear from some people that they are good, that it really is. Thats a good way to relate it to the RDRAM though. That **** was great, in its time, but SOOOOO damn expensive. Thanks for the response. I hope you don't think I'm being a dick. I love that car, and just want to learn all I can about it. I love everything Porsche, and that car has everything that makes me love cars. K, later.
