What the hell!
some of the things people do to other cars REALLY makes me question their sanity.. Seeing those trends spread into the Evo community...no words. Just speechless. I guess that's what happens when people buy a car for the wrong reasons & try to make it something it wasn't designed to be. Explain a Hummer on 26's...a slammed truck...some bloke who thinks he's the USDM version of Tsuchiya in a lowered, staggered/super stretched tire 20's, body kit clad GS430 (still waiting, but expecting any day to see him do that to a Maybach)...an Evo with 4 12" subs in the trunk & more TV screens than your local Best Buys' front window display...
Seeing the trend that started popping up among Honda tuners of moding cars more for show than go has pushed me a bit further away from them still. My first 4 cars were Honda's. I take it personally. The latest craze seems to be slammed into the weeds, deep dish wheels, super stretched tires, jacked up hoods, wire tucks, etc... (the 50's called. Hot Rods want their look back!) I guess everybody got tired of doing the traditional JDM conversion.. I guess what only could come next is Ferrari owners dropping their cars on hydro's & spraying all sides with airbrush.
