congrats! if you dont mind me asking what are your payments looking like on that GTR? or with your trade in did you throw cash down as well to pay it off ?

 

Like with any purchase there are a number of variables that determine your payment. trade value, down payment, negotiated rate, & loan interest rate. other considerations are extended warranty, add-ons etc....

well msrp on specifically on the model GTR you bought says $95,100 and there is no way you got for msrp. tax,tag,title id say you spent somewhere to about $100,000. and if you are making payments they are up the wahzoo...

well of course everyone always claims to have gotten a better deal then others thats just human nature to try and make yourself sound better then the next. but i was just curious its not serious..

 

Coupes are tough for me. Too big, heavy and expensive for a reasonable sports car and still not enough space inside for a good daily.

Awesome machine though I'm admittedly more than a bit jealous of people that they make sense too.

 

The car is fast strong and has 2 back seats that I use to place 2 of my kids. It's a great DD and really drives fantastic.

I have been lurking on NAGTROC for awhile and will be in the market for a GT-R in the spring or summer. I currently have a 08 X MR with around 300whp as my daily driver.

Do you feel that the GT-R is worth the price differential in terms of performance? I noticed that you are in Chicago....I will be DD my car here in CT. Can I count on my GT-R in the winter months with snow tires?

Also, although I don't mind the occassional question or two from people, I am not a big fan of people taking pictures or alot of attention. Do you feel like you get a lot of attention?

Do you get a lot of stangs and camaros reving at you when you are at stop lights? I would think they assume you are in a japanese POS..till you break loose. The weird thing is I never have domestic cars rev at me..its always the civic hatches and s2000 and G35/350z cars.
