Lexus IS-F
So it's safe to assume the majority of you would pick up a used Lexus IS-F with low miles if you were able to get a really good deal on one as opposed to spending the extra money and getting a new Audi S4 (B8)?
I read someones comment about the Audi S4 not being in the same league?

In the end you still have keys that says Lexus on them and may not look as glamorous as a Benz or BMW..subjective of course....and the performance and build quality is much better on the germans...altough they may look a little rough around the edges(remember that Lexus are desgined to look pretty and cute

)I'd say that these days Lexus commands as much respect as BMW or MB. I'd be just as proud having the keys to the Lexus.
if i can choose a performance sedan sports luxury car
the M3 is the way to go
afterall, they are the benchmark and u can never go wrong with one
and interm of resale value all those
i believe an m3 would be a better choice

Alright. After having tracked both the M3 and the ISF, I can actually say something relevant here.
The M3 is faster. It just is. The ISF is more user friendly, and is easier to control at the limit (though the limit is slightly, slightly lower). Honestly, if I were to have to pick one to drive on the street, it'd be a tough call. The transmission in the ISF is very good, and coming from someone who swears by an h-pattern I'm surprised I like it so much. Frankly, we all know nothing I say will influence anyone, but I would choose the ISF.

)I would never buy a German car (unless it's 80's or older) that no longer has a factory warranty. It's just too expensive to keep running. On the other hand, I'll have no issues buying an out of warranty Lexus. It's just a better made car.

Well I finally test drove the car and I was really impressed by the car overall. Pictures really don’t do this car justice, its really nice in person. It handles really well and has a alot of torque. My only problem is that I didn’t really like the interior dash layout. Reminded me of new corolla and for something that costs 63k new that doesn’t cut it. It’s very comfortable though, I’m 6’2 and I didn’t feel cramped . The IS-F's eight-speed Sport Direct Shift automatic transmission is great, not usually a fan of the paddle shifters but this one blew me away. In manual mode, it comes as close to instant shifting as anything I've driven.
Unfortunately the one I was interesting in buying was sold a day before I got there (Probably never had that one to begin with, just wanted to get people out to the dealership) the one I drove was a 2008 Super Sonic Blue which had 27,600 miles, a ding in the rear door, slightely scuffed rims and the back window was messed up because of someone doing a poor job trying to remove tint and they still wanted $42,700 (not including taxes). Definitely not paying that for that for that car, that just doesnt sit right with me. Is it better than the M3 or C63 Amg? Defintely not. Would I buy a new IS-F and choose that car over the competition? Definitely not. But if you can get a good price on a used one in good condition with low miles it’s really not a bad car to pick up.
