2500 HP worth of toys :)

Where the lunacy all began...

Fun to look at, but not so fun to drive.

Traded for 09 w/abs...bad move

The slowest fast looking car ever. Comptech S/C FTL.

One of a kind.

Replaced the X with this. Felt like a Ford Taurus with blown shocks compared to the Evo.

North Shore, Peacock Flats, Hawaii

Try this in your x5.

Picked up 6/2/2010. This ones a keeper

Update sig for lambo. Great choice, please let me know how it compares to the IX in power, handling and fun factor.

hmm, its hard to compare the two. I didn't buy this car cause im a rich old fut who ran out of stuff to spend his money on, rather i bought it because i think its beautiful, ridiculous, and...well i figured im only getting older so i may as well get it out of my system before it becomes a midlife crisis mobile.

Power wise the Gallardo is more of a top end car and I have never driven anything that felt so stable at speed. But the truth is I'm not rich... just a huge car fanatic so the Lambo isn't a car I'm willing to take chances in and really push to its limits (let alone park it out of my sight). The Evo on the other hand, is not nearly as intimidating and while the limits on the gallardo may be higher, to me the fun in driving comes from playing at the limits rather than how many seconds it takes to get from A to B... Then again when driving the yellow thing you feel like a celeb and will never stop smiling until its time to change the clutch ($8-9k and expect to change it every 4-10k miles).

yep, were or are. I'm on the fence re what to do with my IX. I just found it a few months ago in minty stock condition with only 19k miles. To this day I regret selling my 8 so I'm afraid to ditch this car as well, but for some reason the IX just isn't as satisfying to me (perhaps its the 5spd trans or the rattle my downpipe makes when it taps the front sway).

Congrats on the gallardo purchase! Are you over at lambopower? Those are the forums to be at for your lambo for sure! I believe there are actually a few more lambo owners on evom though. Vegasse has posted his TT-Gallardo a few times. I believe he's well over 1000awhp by now!

You mentioned a little on the X. Can you elaborate a little more on your thoughts of the X?

The X was a good car but like everyone else here has stated, it feels big and loses some of the rawness and fun factor. I think the best way to describe it is that its good if you want to go fast around a turn but feels more like a video game and is less... involving? I think the main thing for me was that I bought it early and there were not many power adding options. I waited a painful forever and a day for my zchip and when it came I just wasn't satisfied. Traction control lights would always come on and i lost every race to my friends in their sc s2k and evo8.... All guess all of the above just detracted from its luster haha. With that said im sure a fast one would be a ton of fun and now that I think about it maybe I should FP black my IX.

And Fergy no im not on lambopower but i definitely will check that out. The car is currently at Auto Talent in LA, CA getting its clutch replaced. They told me about the TT kits and while 1000hp in that thing sounds awesome it also sounds expensive and like it could be a maintenance nightmare.... But then again I haven't ruled it out lol.

Nice collection - what's with the four holes on the wing pillar of your IX?

That was my 8mr. Now I have a 9se... I liked the 8 more
the 8 had Cf on the inside of the wing that was screwed in hence the holes

Yeah - I've heard the 8's wing is better quality than the 9's.
