Looks nice dude! I don't know that I could go from the evo to a C6. I could however go from the evo to the ZR1

should have kept the evo, enjoy the lack of grip and cheap build quality that is the corvette. and yes i do speak from experience, i've owned a 2000 frc and a 99 vert. true, not a c6 but i doubt much has changed in terms of quality. i prefer the evo hands down.

but whatever makes you happy, drag racing is fun and they do look nice.

If I were to ever own a vetter it'd be the ZR1 and since I can't afford it I dont have to worry about getting rid the Evo

zr1 is a ***** car. Great for looking cool in your garage or if you enjoy buying lots of tires.

Ummm thats about all vettes bro
my wife so I applied that to cheating on the Evo
I have a simple tactic for not cheating on my wife. If I go out to a bar or something I pick the hottest chick in there and say "If she comes up to me and wants to get laid then Ill do it otherwise I'm going home and getting some from wifey"

Its workd so far to keep me from cheating on

I thought most Evo owners had more sense than this. OP, it was your choice, but IMO you made the wrong one. I wouldn't give up my Evo for very many cars, and the vette is not on that short list. Something about pushrods in what is supposed to be a performance car in the year 2010 upsets me.

Im surprised at the anti-vette mentality here. I love the Evo and will own one eventually. But I have owned a C5 FRC Vette and they are great cars. I can see if one does not like the styling (which is gorgeous IMO), but they make great power, get awesome highway mileage and are lightweight cars that handle well (especially with suspension+).

Whats not to like? The fact that old men also buy them in Automatic and drive them 50MPH in the right lane? So what - the Z06 / Z51's are capable performance sports cars, as are Evo's - they're fast at the drags too if you're into that kind of stuff.

Good luck with your C6 OP, i'm not a huge fan of the color - but they're awesome cars!

I think the main hate comes from the fact that the Evo is an excellent performance machine that is the perfect DD. Where as the Vette is also very capable but it is a summer car and also modulation of the gas has to be very percise during any time of wet conditions.

The Evo is the Vette but far more practicle of a car for DD/family use.

Almost everyone that I know that went from the evo to a muscle car missed the evo and went back! You can't beat the awd. rwd is fun for the first week... The only people that own vets where I live are about to die...
