Who plans to import/buy an R32 in 2014?

With 2014 not too far away, the first year of R32 will be legal to import in the USA since it will be 25 years old. Has anybody planned or been waiting for that year to get their hands on a piece of Japanese history? For the going price of GTR's in Japan currently, it seems they could be a fun track car for a reasonable price!

We have all those piece of junk JDM RHD cars all over Quebec. They decided a year ago that RHD was too dangerous and banned them. BEtter decision they made for a long time with also cancelling the bumper regulations allowing importation.

Also, no. R32 = Nissan. I wouldn't mind having an R31 with an RB26 swap now though. They can look hella sexy if done right.

Most car owners on this site have cars that are far superior to the R32 already. I'd personally never downgrade from my RX7 to a GT-R32. If I owned an EVO I wouldn't downgrade either.

Why not just buy an R33, they are legal as long as you make the modifications listed from the NHTSA
