Building a '78 Nova, right now a 454, may change it

Here's my Nova I'm building... Having to take some time off it as I've been traveling alot for work so next couple months doubt any work will be done

454 In engine bay, clearing out everything but engine. No inner fender walls, no emissions crap.

Putting her in

Tach, and where new radio is. You can't see it from out side, just when your in car.

New gauges, needing to change steering wheel. Also will be changing her to a floor shifting from column

454 on left(going into the car so far) 305 on right(original w/ car)

Still even with bigger engine, so much room in her.

The girl

horrible place for a tach. id cut out that dead spot in your cluster and custom fit that gauge in there. would be much more usable and cleaner.

I'm going to have a custom made dash but I put it there for the time being. Plus being an auto I really don't have to pay attention to it at all times. When driving(atlest sitting in it for now) its perfect for me as I'm able to see it out of the corner of my eye

-Actually thats not a dead spot. When car is on that are warning lights.

man, i could make that look so clean. cut that spot out, drill two tiny holes by the turn signal indicators and install an led for each warning light. i used to have a vw bus that i made a custom dash for and ive also installed custom pieces into different cars. just a few minutes of extra wiring and it would look awesome. i get you though - your shift points are more or less set so its not gonna matter.
