Nice Shoots. There is one of those new HSV GTS in my town and even though it is standard, it really stands out, but I never knew they were that much. The guy who owns it use to own a Twin-Turbo 99' WRX slammed to the ground with a 22B kit and 19" gold wheels which also standed out pretty well. Anyway, here is a pic of a VS Commodore (1996) one that has been modified.

Cheers

Oh wow. Gorgeous machines. What American platforms (or just general GM platforms: Sigma, Gamma, etc.) are they based on, if you know?

None, but your Pontiac GTO is going to be based on our Monaro (the coupe version)

Although we do share the same LS1 5.7L V8, and our monaro runs the Callaway Version you guys have..

No, Holden produced the SS which is just a better Commodore.. These are the HSV range that have all the performance modifications done to them by a different part.. EG, Holden is to Mitsubishi, and HSV is like Ralli-Art.. the upspec versions.,,

I'd liken it more akin to SVT...after all, Special seems to be a selling point. What is the first sedan pictured called? Do you also see cars like the Ford Mondeo 220?
