The first car is the Clubsport.. basically level entry, i think it has something like 255 kw's, bout 340 hp from the factory.. also has Harrop brakes, and nice interior then theres the Clubsport R8 version, which is the 285 kw (382hp) version.. just bigger brakes, more horses, 19's and **** factory..
The GTS model, the last four door, is 300kw's (400hp) and has everything.. 19's, big *** brakes, full interior and the engine is the callaway v8 LS1

I don't really like Holden / HSV, but they have some ok stuff, like the Blaupunkt audio system. I thought the first pic was a model, I don't know why but it just looked like that to me. The Commodore is based on a Vauxhall / Opel (The company the majority of the Holden sold vehicles come from) Omega Vauxhall Omega and uses the American 5.7L V8 or a 3.8L V6 (also American?).

The Vauxhall Omega shape was actually used off the Holden Astra.. thats the equivalent.. the Commodore was actually designed here in Australia..
We use our 3.8l V6's ( the ecotecs)are australian, although the V8's are the LS1 5.7L Chevy Engines..
The VN-VP Range of Commodores used the Buick V6, the the VS series uses the Ecotec, and the newly revised Ecotec

It sounds like you work for Holden so you should know what you are talking about but are you sure about the Omega? The Astra is a seperate Vauxhall car, much smaller Vauxhall Astra .
The Commodore and Omega look very similar and I am looking at an old car magazine right now that says the new Commodore (which is now the current shape) will be based on the Omega and it shows pictures of it being tested.
The dimensions are very similar
Commodore Omega Astra
Length: 4868mm 4898mm 4252mm
Width: 1842mm 1776mm 1709mm
Wheelbase: 2788mm 2730mm 2606mm
Height: 1440mm 1455mm 1425mm
(Notice that the Omega is far bigger than the Astra and the Astra is definately a seperate car made by Vauxhall)
The Commodore's extra size is easily made up with the different body panels that Holden uses. Sure the Commodore is designed here, but it was originally based on the Vauxhall Omega and the "designing" is mainly the front and back bodywork and the interior.
By the way I said I did not really like Holden but I am not attacking them I am just saying what I know. I like most cars, I just see nothing special about Holden as all there cars, except the Commodore (and Monaro but that is just a 2 door Commodore), are built by other companies (mostly Vauxhall/Opel and Izuzu). I realise that most people don't share this view so I am not trying to start an argument.
