AtomWare Race Car Build

Hi Guys,

I thought I would create a thread here letting you guys know about the build of my Australian Evo IX race car.

The full build diary (as the build progresses) is here - http://www.atomware.com.au

FYI there are no advertisements or banners or any other commercial agenda items on my website, it's purely dedicated to my car.

This is how the car looked when it came off the road in September 2007 to start the current build:

Nice work, that must have taken a long time to build the rotisserie.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Nope it hasn't taken long at all to build the rotisserie. I've worked on it for probably 1.5 full days so far. I'm aiming to have it 100% complete (but not powdercoated) this Saturday, and to start the seam welding of the chassis on Sunday.

Once the rotisserie is complete (this weekend) work will go nuts on the car, and the updates should be more frequent, and more exciting. I've got a 1st September deadline (for a Sep 17 event), and while I'm not revealing the full list of what I'm doing, it's a damn long (and expensive) list.

The main event for me is the Evolution Nationals here in Australia, which is in November. The September event is one I am hoping to attend, as it's with a bunch of great guys and will be a fun week away. I won't be cutting corners just to make the deadline though - if I want to do a certain modification, I will be doing it regardless of time frame. Hopefully 4 months is enough time for me to get everything done!

Hey guys,

I'm going to continue the writeup of this over in the Evo Show and Shine thread. I figure it's probably the best place to put it, as it is showing off a car, even though it's motorsport oriented. You can see the full thread here:

Thanks
