Lancia Stratos
Lancia Stratos
From what I have seen, they are at the very least making one of these. These new articles seem to suggest that a new reinterpretation of the old Stratos may in fact be a reality. I for one would buy one. It looks great, has a Ferrari V8, and probably handles very well.

Speculation as to which one is still a little wild, with Italiaspeed insinuating they think the beating heart of a 599 lives back there. That's an awful lot of engine for such a short wheelbase.

Also new are ceramic brakes all around and center locking wheel hubs, along with the undying affection of everyone familiar with the original. The program's supposedly been under development for as long as four years and is now coming to fruition with a very high-dollar budget. My offer to fist fight Matt Hardigree for first drive privileges still stands.

I doubt it. I suspect that you would be better off buying a Lotus Evora if you have any intention of relying on this car in any capacity. However, that still would not prevent me from owning one. It would be my guilty pleasure.
