is there ANY mechanical differences between the GTO and 3000GT here in the states? From what I see, everything is the same, exterior and interior besides the LHD and the wheels which I think is probably aftermarket.

I love 3000GT's/Stealth's. Just big nasty cars that are meant to go fast and turn on occasion, that is, when electrical and mechanical gremlins aren't hounding them. Engine is stock so reliability in that department shouldn't be tooooo bad but I have heard horror stories about the active aero features. I don't want to imagine crawling inside that engine bay when it comes time for a service.

Never been a fan of the GTO/3000GT. For the money, why not just buy a Supra? You live down under, what about a GTSt Skyline?
