Not sure if you had the traction control on but it totally dumbs the car down in 1st and 2nd ASIDE from the torque limiting built into the ecu. I had all that turned off and the car feels great now.

I just recently sold my 06 SE and picked up an 08 z06. I am starting to get to know the car and my autox trips are getting much better. I completely agree on the seats though, will be one of the first things I replace.
