mustang question?

i wanted to get subframe connectors for my oldman's christmas present. he has a 2001 cobra. do any of you former mustang owners know if they bolt on or do they need to be welded. thanks in advance.

i haven't done a search on mustang subframe spacers yet. i assume you're talking about the spacers. help stiffen the slop in the rear end and all? the 240's have spacers that simply slip in place. they look like C's and once the subframe is lowered back to rest, the spacers are held in place. If you search some of the mustang performance sites, i'm sure you can come up with something like that. most people are too lazy and want adjustability in their suspension, so welding bits on is becoming a thing of the past IMO

You can get both I believe. However, welded is always better. I had mine welded in.
