Question How many switched from a VR-4?

I just bought my new EVO on Tuesday.
I used to drive a 92 3000GT VR-4. How many others used to drive VR-4s? What do you think of the switch? (Pros/cons)

(I did run a search and couldn't find anything on the topic... so sorry if this is a repeat)

This prolly doesn't apply but I switched from a Celica Turbo All-Trac (Celica GT-FOUR) and my buddy who had an Galant VR4 switched to an STi. Being able to own or drive past and present WRC winning cars is just great isn't it?

I'm switched from a 91 Galant VR4. Still driving it. I have 270,000 on the VR4 and 12,000 on the EVO. The engine is bullet proof. My mechanic is constantly amazed.

I had a 97 base model and always wanted a VR4. Decided to get an Evo instead.

i had a 3000gt vr4, supra tt, 300zx tt, mr2 turbos, and a mess of other turbos in my lifetime and this is by far the best handling and most responsive car i've ever driven. Only issue i have is that the evo's max turning radius is ridiculously wide.

More throttle man! It works wonders at reducing you turning radius

It bothers me too.

My co-driver had a Galant VR=4 that he drove Nationally. We started with the set up that he had on that car and it gave us a good base line to start from. Of course, he had 205s on it and not near the horsepower.

I went from a 91 gvr-4. I had to sell it and the guy that bought it from me just flipped it about 2 weeks ago. I should have kepted it. #259/2000 R.I.P

I've noticed both things. I'm still in the break-in period, so I haven't punched the throttle yet, but otherwise, the car has really impressed me! The lack of body roll is amazing. I can't believe all of this, especially out of a four door!

The turning radius is suck, but you can't have everything...

I sold my 95 VR-4 for my Evo. I sold it because I had to have 4 doors. What a difference. I still think the VR-4 felt faster, even though the fastest trap I ran with it was a 102 at 13.4.

I'm still in the break in period so I haven't felt the full power of the EVO yet... If magazine racing, though.... the EVO has better times than the VR-4.

Has anyone thought about converting to just having four recaros? two front and two back

VR-4

Yeah I went from a 93 Stealth TT to the EVO. They EVO is bettwer in all the areas. The EVO has awsome steering, braking, power, and looks. I loved my stealth but the EVO has taken its place.

By the way my 93 Stealth TT is for sale. PM if anyone is Intrested.
