Just Testdrove New 2011 Sedan Sti

So i just got back from my local dealership , im currently looking at trading in my 08 350z for a Evo X but i ended up looking at subaru and the new 2011 Sti SEDAN is out ( they only had 1 ) and i was very happy they brought the Sedan back.. IDK if they have reviews for this buti thought i should share my experiance , First off the car in my opinion was absolutely beautiful the exterior is like 30x better then the older stis ( i think anything from wagons and under are ugly ) anyways it reminded me of the Evo X bcause it is very big and boxy but it has much more curve then the X . As for under the hood , There is no room to work on anything now the engine bay sucks and i would not wanto touch under the hood myself id have to have a real mechanic do the work the intake is like under everythign and abunch of wires the turbo is way in the middle its just not a good sight.. As for interior , i drove the grand touring version so it had leather interior , sunroof option the seats were nice but i thought the evo X interior was more classy/comfortable ** Sti has seat warmes now i thought that was fun. lol The car has a bunch of turbo lag and the handling wasnt as good as the Evo so overall id rate this 5.3/10
Anyways idk if you guys care i just thought id tell u guys im going with a Evo X instead of this.. But subarus going in the right direction with Exterior lookin now..
lol

Exterior 8/10
Interior 7/10
Performance 5/10
Handling 6/10 <- car rides stiff and real high

Anyways sorry for being annoying with this long *** review lol! and sorry if its confusing i dont no how to spell correctly lol ~

We do have an "Other Cars" section.

There is also a Evo X vs Sti thread too.

Just to see how you gauge things, how would you rate the Evo X based on your experiences (on your 1-10 scale)?

From what I understand, it hasn't improved much, if at all.

After beefing up the WRX, it makes little sense that Subaru didn't feel to need to improve upon the hp/tq numbers or the performance..

I wasn't talking about the engine, i was talking about the inherent understeer (handling) of the STi.

The exterior rating is all subject to what people like. I personally think both cars look good to me. I think the X is a bit more aggressive looking and has nicer lines. The issue I have with the new STI Sedan is the tail lights, rear bumper and the rear wing which just does not flow well.

Again its simply up to a person's taste on what looks good and does not.

OP, if you have not seen the interior of a X MR-T, then you need to because it blows away the STIs interior hands down.

I personally have owned an 07 STI, and now for 2 years, my IX MR and recently purchased an 05 WRX as a DD.

The new STIs IS alot nicer interior wise then the previous generations but I still think the interior of the X is nicer. The MR and MR-T versions of course since we are comparing to them an STI Limited's leather interior.

The base STI interior is pretty close to the X MR interior in quality but the seats in the X are much better in my opinion.

the new sti just felt very uncomfortable in the turns and i believe it understeered alot / all i can say is the Evo's blow the sti away... but they are doing good at making it a more practical car for DD. and yes 5/10 when you testdrive and you punch it you will feel more turbo lag then any other turbo car uve driven... Its ridicullous and the turbo didnt like fully kick in till like 4500 rpms... it wasnt exciting and didnt put a smile on my face.
