What to Buy?
What to Buy?
Hi Guys,
My name is Matt and for long time I'm passive reader in this forum, and i have to say that you have an amazing forum and i learned a lot from it.
Last week i broke my engine in my Evo IX, and i'm looking to buy new car.
In the beginning i thought to upgrade to Evo X but gladly i got a Christmas bonus
and now my budget is 55K$.
I would be happy to hear your recommendation of what should i buy at this range?
btw, i'm planning to keep the Evo and start a little project of building new engine.
Thanks,
Matt

I have different budget (25K) to build the IX for a track car.
The 55K is for daily sports car that i could go to track from time to time..
Jehuty, Miata is for girls ;-)
i thought of:
BMW M3
Audi RS4
Evo X

Out of those cars I'd take the Evo X. Not a big fan of the m3 (nor bmw in general), RS4 is second on the list. But I'd still take the X over the RS4 simply because repairing an Audi alone will break the bank. Some of the most expensive automotive parts imo.

Don't get me wrong I love the X, but since his budget is so high maybe he is looking for something a bit more exotic. Since he already has an EVO and an STi. Me personally, I like the VIII and IX over the X
I agree, I was just being an ***. Well what exactly are you looking for? Luxury, speed, etc
Id have to say first choice Evo X. Great comfort and still a fun track car. Next I'd say M3. Just shearly out of cost of repairs, but if thats not an issue for you then I'd say first choice would be M3.
I'd have FlyinMiata build you a nice LS3 Miata. These are very high quality professional builds. You can't find a better combo of power, handling, and braking. These are definitely not girlie cars. Do a search on YouTube for vids.
