Turbo LS2 Nissan 350Z

So today, my brother's Nissan 350Z powered by a turbo LS2 6 litre came out on the cover of Modified Magazine February issue.

He has had his Z for a couple years now. It went from stock, to turbo, to ls2, to ls2 with nitrous, and now its a turbo (88mm) ls2. He ran a best of a 10.8 at 138 with a horrible 60' on a stock bottom end.

At one point we had a little brotherly rivalry. In order to try and keep up with his car, I built my evo IX and equipped it with a 6262 turbo. I ran into many problems where i finally gave up and sold the car. I now drive an X which I love with an fp red going in soon among a few other things
Anyways, his goal is to get this car to trap 150mph. He is also hoping to reach 1000whp. Right now the block is at the machine shop getting built.
Stay tuned...

I believe it weighs roughly 3300lbs. It made 733whp (self tuned) on shootout mode on a dyno dynamics. For that he was running C16 race fuel at 14psi.

Thats much better than the weak stock VQ motor in the 350z.

Pretty sure your brother already has a build thread on this site. I'm fairly sure it's on the same page as this thread.

He actually did the full swap. In fact, he started to build an ls1 rx7, had the motor in and everything just never finished. All that info is in the magazine article.

That's awesome. A while back on youtube I saw an evo with either an ls or lt1 I don't remember but it was crazy seeing an evo with the sound of a v8 when it took off.
