So after months of deciding what to buy, I finally settled on something. I just took delivery on Thursday, and have been happy with it so far. It is way better than the corolla I was driving. My mod plans are pretty mild right now, I have a set of sportlines that I'll install when it warms up, and I will be getting the windows tinted on Monday.

Anyway, I took a pic even though it is already really dirty...

It is my first non-japanese car, and I'm already finding that I don't have all the tools I need to do even some minor mods. The power is decent, but it falls on its face at higher RPMs. Its no evo, but gets good gas mileage, has the DSG transmission which is wife friendly, and has a great interior.

I've heard pretty good things in regards to the GTIs being decent mileage and quality DD, congrats on the pickup.
