hi.....i have an srt-4
To begin with, yes. Naturally a few guys on the forum were kind of poking fun at him (but it's bound to happen, as it wouldn't surprise me if an Evo owner posted on a GT-R forum, or if a GT-R owner posted on a Porsche 911 Turbo forum, etc.), but then the guy started going off-topic with name calling in defense when it wasn't necessary while saying that his car "wasn't built for the 1/4" but would beat most people's Evos "at highway pulls" (i.e. illegal street racing). He got warned by a moderator, then he posted the warning on the thread and whined about it.
Cliff notes: OP came here with his car, maybe had a bit of an attitude, maybe not (depends on your view). Some EvoM members did not show their best side and rose to the bait and insults flew back and forth with personal attacks and some racist/prejudiced remarks on both sides. Some questioned his motives and car, and he responded with some help of others. Long story short, he made an *** of himself as did a handful of EvoM members, and that does not represent what we are trying to do here at EvoM. I moved the thread from the Newbie/FAQ forum to the Other Cars forum in hopes that we can all just appreciate other cars and their owners. So, here we are and we are all hopefully moving on to discuss..... cars.
Nice SRT. I almost bought one a little bit before my Evo and was gonna do a similar color scheme. Black with gray racing stripes. Keep up the good work. My hat's off 2 u. A sick car's a sick car, as long as it's done right.
I say delete the whole thread no offense to some of our guys, but this stuff makes evo owners look bad and cocky. I am a member in all kinds of car forums and we all share the same hobbie, just some people can afford certain cars and others cant. I always enjoy when others join in and show other cars besides Evos.
I deleted 140+ posts, so there is no way you can see exactly what kind of asshattery happened here. Needless to say, some people crossed way over the line and I had to ban a few people for a couple of days IAW our rules, the OP was one of them. If you want to know how to stay put of trouble, check out WSB's EvoM guide, it's linked in my sig. Follow that and use some common sense and chances are you'll be just fine.

I admit I was the one who started the whole problem before this thread got deleted and started again. I apologize for that, I was just joking with you XSiLeNtScReAmX. I was the first one to say "buy an Evo" but I didn't expect it to go that far! Mybad, You do have a nice SRT4. Were you at the Golden Gardens Meet on the 29th of January?
That's hands down the best looking SRT-4 I've seen IMO. Great job with the exterior, keep us posted with your progress. It's always good to see quality work regardless of what kind of vehicle it is.
thank u very much
