2012 Ford Focus

http://svtusa.com/2010/09/250-horsep...-st-announced/

I've never really been a Focus fan, but...250 HP? Recaro seats? Ford Sync? TC-SST? This is starting to sound like a damn nice little package...

**Edit**

Apparently the 250 HP engine never came to be...

Nice. Ecoboost will make it good. Interior looks sweet.

I would like to see an insideline full test before people start to churp it. Brakes look awesome

Cannot wait to see this car in person. I can only hope the prices will be reasonable, roughly on par with what Mazda has been pricing the Speed at. Here's to hoping!

I don't think we will be getting the ST package like the one pictured, or the RS right away, if at all. It would be nice if our 'american' car was as nice as its european counterparts. Just like we most likely wont see the equivalent to tanner fousts fiesta rally car. Hopefully i will be proven wrong, i wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of these.

434 Fifth Gear - Focus RS vs. EVO X FQ 300

Might be off topic but this video was pretty cool.

One can only hope Ford brings the RS over at some point. I know the market isnt huge for AWD turbo cars but I can bet there will be alot of STi and Evo people hoping over to an RS.

I think the RS will attract all the Ford and American car lovers who don't like the japanese car equivalents.

Especially if Ford is able to offer it at a very competitive price, I know I'd be more than willing to take the plunge if that were the case.

Thought this was worth reviving. Car will sell in US in late 2012. Personally, its definitely worth a look... estimates show the car should sell for well under $30,000

A few more pictures:

What do you guys think?

^Not a recaro fan? There's an optional full leather version that I'd prefer rather than half cloth as shown....

Here's a link to some specs of the ST if anyone's interested
