Looking at getting a 2000-2003 GTI 1.8T for a commuter/DD.. All the VW forums suck, so I was hoping we had someone who's really familiar with them here and can help me out on anything I should look for when buying.

I had the vw gli 1.8t. It was a great car, very solid feeling and great gas mileage..
