It'll have a bit of lag, the Intake manifold will add 200-300RPM's alone but with a killer set of cams it'll have HUGE topend.

He had a bunch of issues from the dealership he went to...missing a ton of parts. We had to find out everything that was missing, order accordingly, and then do the job. We will get him going quickly...I think his dealer had the car for 6months or something crazy like that.

Never had experience with Akuma's stuff personally but have seen your GT-R parts and they look really nice.

I have seen their EVO X parts...very well engineered and Akuma has addressed some of the weak points in intake design with respect to air flow (smoother bends) and MAF placement (where the air flows smoothest in the intake pathway)...does it ADD more HP?...sure, but the real point to it's design is to add more HP AND be able to be tuned more precisely without making any compromises due to the design of the piece. For example, the Akuma intake does not throw a CEL when used WITHOUT an intake shroud like other cone filter intake designs. Very well thought out pieces. I hope to have my EVO X in soon for new Akuma pipes and a tune.

Well, just look at how he plastered vinyl all over his car of what he 'has in his car' and is obviously not a show car. No further explanation should be needed.
