Thumbs up Owner of Lambo Mucielargo Offered Me a Test Drive

Well, I was too afraid to drive it. It was my dad's friend. We were eating dinner and suddenly, he asked me if I wanted to drive a 0-100kmph in 3.6 second car. The first thing came to mind was the Lambo Murcielargo. I cannot believe he bought it. It costs HK$4,000,000 (US$516,000) in Hong Kong. He bought the 40th Anniversary one which is in blue. I went to his place today at Ho Man Tin, Mong Kok to confirm it. He started it up and it sounds amazing. I refused to drive it but I did request a ride. I just can't believe how much low end, mid end, and high end torque and power this car has. Even in second gear at 2000rpm, he gassed it and it pushed me to the back of the seat. Car's suspension is much harder than mine...LOLz Brakes were HUUUUUGE!!! Rear tire was 335/30/18!! We stopped next to a Skyline GT-R and the guy was just staring and staring; he did not try to race. Then an STi came by. Everyone was just staring.

I just hate the fact that the shift is so damn high on the car. It needs a short throw shifter LOLz. The car comes with A/C and an Alpine Navigation system.

He told me this car is definitely not for daily driven. He can't park it on the streets. He can't park it in parking lots (ramps are inclined too high). The only places he can park it is in his apartment's parking lot and places with confirmed safe spots that has earlier been reserved for him.

This car is a work of art. The car still smell new. I love that smell.

I would love to own it but I'd rather have the money in my piggy bank account and drive a tad cheaper car than that.

Too bad you can't really push Lambo in HK. Although my friend had a lot of fun in his brother-in-laws 360Modena on the twisties on the other side of the mountain, in the middle of the night...

Eric, which one was the most fun? The most fun I've had so far (not counting my own ride) was in my friend's CL55 - talk about instant head-snapping power at any RPM from a luxury yacht!

I know exactly what your talking about

My mom is contemplating on getting one of the 40th anniversary editions, keeping it and selling it for more later

Its cameleon blue with gunmetal wheels right?

I have driven a yellow Murcielago and yes the torque is absolutely terrifying.

I took one run up to 210 kmh (about 130 mph) on the track and its nothing like anything ive ever experienced

But the only bad thing is its a pig. The evo feels more nimble than it.

Also the clutch is something you have to be very careful with. You dont get any lag like you do in the evo, just power right there.
Forget about 4 wheel drive burnout, with rear tires 13 inches wide, it would eat the clutch before it would try to spin the tires. Its only a single plate clutch

Heres the one that my mom is interested in

Theres only gonna be 50 of them made

The car costed him around US$500,000 because if taxes in HK.

There are almost no such things as houses in Hong Kong. His apartment may be more expensive than many ppl's house here on EvoM. His apartment is over 3500 sq foot big since he took two apartments and made it into one. It is worth over HK$20,000,000. Now convert than to US Dollars by dividing that in 7.75 and tell me if that apartment isnt nice.
