do i sell both evo's for a GTR?

i have 2005 GG MR with 10600 origional miles with basic mods 316whp ivey tuned. and a 2003 evo 8 with 33000. it was in accident but was professionally rebuilt with intire new frame. i kept old pieces as proof. the car had be inspected and was put on a few frame machines to make sure it was completely straight. all shops said it was perfect. it has basic mods plus cams. plus motor was just fully rebuild and just reinstalled. what do you think i could get for each of them? ive been offered 29000 for my evo mr. and have many offers in high 20's and the white one is fixed with clean title. i will tell who ever i sell to that it was in accident. im not a dirty person like that. but i can buy a 2010 grey gtr for 70,000 and im hoping the evos fund most of it. lmk what you guys think.

i would only consider doing that if you have a car other then the GTR to use as a DD.

personally I wouldn't do it. I would rather have a built evo that goes as fast as a gtr, than a gtr and youll still have a nice DD evo to by the sounds of it. Given you could pretty easily just go put 700+ hp in a gtr but thats just not my thing. Id say keep both evos and build one up.

I just bought a Honda Insight Hybrid for my DD. I would definitely go with the GTR bro. I plan on getting a GTR in a few years also.

Depends what you want it for. I personally would turn the 03 into a dedicated track car and keep the mr nice. But its up to you...the Gtr is a beast. I can't say it isn't on my list.

the 05 GG 8 MR is a rarity. they weren't mass produced like the 9 MR's were. my opinion sell the white one that had the damage and keep the MR, but definetly DONT sell both of them.

i would love to just get a loan on the gtr but i have a 1997 integra (beater) a insight and 2 evos. and i dont even have a garage yet. so there's no way i can justify having 5 cars and nowhere to store them on my property. (evos stored in locked garage bout 20 mins away) all my cars are paid for but its the parking thats the issue now.

I traded my 05 EVO MR for the a new 2010 GTR....

Then my Wife traded her STI for my EVO.

Now we have my original EVO and the GTR.

Love the GTR.. it is very very fast and handles great.... if you do the maintenance yourself. you will be ok. I also love the EVO.

you will love them both...

I'm just not a nissan fan. But of all Nissans, the new GTR would be the one to own. I would just be scared of the crazy high price of maintenance on those. Other than that sounds like a fun toy. I would find some way to keep the evo though.

Cool thing is Shep does transmissions for the GTR now. So no worries if you break it!

yea ams does the alpha 12 package. its $70,000. but your gtr becomes like 1200whp. which is badass. i wish i could keep the evos but im only 21yr and it looks bad enough when i own all these cars. i cant just add a gtr with out some sacrifice

Aren't GTRs expensive to own and unrelieable? I wouldn't if you aren't going to have a DD..

agreed!

you must all have a good *** job for a 21 year old. But if your one of those lucky ones...go right a head and trade those evos in and get a GTR. Then watch a moded evo whoop that a$$ on the track haha. Got em. Id stick to the evos if i were you. 70k on a GTR is redonkulous if your just trying to have a stock fast car cause you cant mod or track that thing without loosing your warrenty.
