Yea ok this is not forza that you play on xbox360 that's a game

The GTR is truly a super car that hang's with the big dog's so it's not a game just a super car.

 

Zo6 or zr1 hands down. Both ***** smacked the Rrrr on the ring

 

Very True but 99% of us cannot get that time as we would just spin out while the GTR is just push play and lap times materialize.

 

i will be getting a gtr as soon as i find the right one. sharkbite how much work do you have done to your gtr? and what year did you get. the one i was looking at had to many miles and with getting the inside scoop from the tech at nissan, he told me that the owner of the nissan and the leading sales tech went out and beat the sh*t out of the car so badly that it was leaking tranny fluid when it had to get towed back to the dealer cause it wouldnt start. just another example of dealers beating cars to death.

 

Def keep the evos.... I think you would regret selling both them especially since the MR has such low miles you would never be able to find another one like it...

 

If I were you I would sell everything but the two evos and use the rebuilt 03 VIII as your DD and maybe use the money you got from the other cars to build the 8 MR into a track/weekend car.

I can't even imagine how high your insurance payments would be on a GTR @ 21, not to mention expensive maintenances and payments. But hey, if you have the cash and want to get the GTR then keep the insight sell the rest. But given all of those payments you won't really be able to mod it for a bit, and if you do and something goes wrong make sure you are able to pay for the repairs.

 

if you are just going to cruise it and not road race it or drag it sure...baby it and youll be fine. sort of just like an Evo only 3 times the cost if something breaks...lol.

I don't get why so many people rep Z06's over Evos. The Z06 is a great car, but in comparison to an Evo, it's kind of a boring car. The gears are really long and there is nowhere near the same connection to the car as an Evo. The Z06 has a very twitchy suspension (the older ones without F55). The handling is great, but like others have said, unless you are on an open track or have some serious experience, this car will punish you for mistakes. I don't even dare try to be hard on it with the traction and stability off as 1/2 throttle lights the tires up in an amazing fashion.

Not knocking the Z because it's the most performance you can get for the money, but I think I fall into the same category as some as not being a Corvette guy. Fantastic cars for sure, but not as fun to me as an Evo.

 

I have rode in quite a few GTR's, Some modded and other's not!

If i was gonna give up both Evo's for it i would make sure i had a good DD still..Also with mod's being super expensive on the GTR i would go ahead and find one with the Alpha 9 kit or simliar 20k worth of BPU mod's..

Basically

2 Evo's > Stock GTR

2 Evo's<Slightly modded GTR because with BPU mod's and E85 it is a blast

 

Without knowing any more info 05 MR is probably the least desirable evo out. "Glass 6 speed ". I have owned one without issues but I am just saying + its got all the evo 8 things, interior no mivec ect. I would say if you can get 25k for it take it
the 03 18. Those numbers are without accident history. You will maybe get 14-15k for the rebuilt one by some kid. Id say deductions would be made from those numbers in this market with a branded title.

There is around 40k.... Your not funding much on a gtr with 2 evos. New they were only 30k. I would sell the rebuilt one and keep the clean title car. done deal.

 

It's all $$$ how much of it do you have? I still miss my EVO sometimes......lol. I have ridden and driven a stock 09', stock 11', and a 550awhp modded 09' GTR. To be perfectly honest I love the car 100% LOVE IT!! If it's modded

Stock the car felt pretty boring to me I was not a fan. The fit and finish is great though at least compared to a EVO and the Z06, but modded was a totally differnent ball game. 550awhp was quick, turbos spooled quick, I liked it alot. I love my Z06 especially now, but would love to add a GTR just can't swing the coin.
