I actually own this. This is the last day I own the car. The new owner is picking the car up tomorrow and going to bring it to Australia.

I am not bashing it. I am just a disappointed when they decided not to use the IRS on the GT. I'd wait for the IRS version to come up and I'll see (maybe the Cobra).

What I really want is the original Boss 302, though.

I think the new Mustang GT is a good performance deal at $25100 without options. The only option I'd consider would be the tilt steering wheel. I'd rather spend dollars on aftermarket accessories.

the mustang 0-60 in 5.2 ... and this is better than the evo?

i've heard and read time and time again the evo is like 4.8*ish* when driven how it shold be or with atleast a driver who knows how to shift right.

also, i would not wanna have a mustang in a winter enrionment or want to give up the AWD, such a handy tool to have at any place, whether its rain or snow, its still going to save you while the mustang is just going to fish tale everywhere.

I sold one of my 2 mustangs 4 months ago, it was a 67 289ci, one owner "me" everything original on the car and only 32,000 original miles.
But I have always been a camaro guy, also sold a 95Z with 34K.
What I really hope is for chevy to bring these babies out.

I don't have any issues with ford. The only reasons I wouldn't buy one is just like the 99 grand ams and mustangs, they are a dime a dozen. I guarentee that I see 15 grand ams and mustangs on the way to work every day. I like the EVO b/c of it's performance and how fun it is to drive and have seen maybe 3 around. (obviously not including the ones sitting on dealer's lots)
