Exact car and year my friend just rebuilt.... brand new everything.... the except car i make fun of him for driving at 95 hp

Not shabby. Looks a lot like the Mercedes 300SL's from back in the day. Gotta love those red interiors.

Time warrp -- My father had a black one, same year. He finally had to get rid of it when the radiator fell out on the highway at 65 mph. Getting parts was nearly impossible in the early 60's. What a sweet car when it was running though.

....lol....werd.....in actuality though I'm still kinda bent on getting a '56 Porsche Speedster replica........they build them on a brand new tube frame chassis with a hand laid fiberglass body and even has all the authentic badges from Porsche.....then they put in a brand new air cooled 2100cc VW engine in there.......they cost like $22k.....that whole package would be a little easier for me to maintain
