Angry Car got egged last night.

I'm currently living in Rockland County NY with Family. I live on a court i.e circle. My evo's in my friends garage at all times but my DD isn't so lucky. Due to too many cars on our driveway I have to leave it in the front of the house on the street. Woke up at 5am today for work and went to warm it up and saw yolk all down the side of the drivers door. It was cold this morning so it all froze relatively quickly and got removed before any "damage" was done to the paint. Spoke to the local PD to see if anyone else got hit but they said they received no other reports of vandalism. My paint is flawless even though it's my DD, I've taken extremely well care of it since new. I'm looking for opinions on an affordable wireless surveillance set up that I can aim from a tree etc. Also would like to be able to record directly to my laptop.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. PD won't be able to do much and I cannot do a stake out as much as I want to kick some ***.

You got picked on because the other kids are jealous! Hang a chicken from your rear tow hook.

Probably might be a good idea to invest in a Viper (or equivalent system) that has a 2 way pager on your keyring

I've thought about it but that still potentially gives them time to drive off. It happened last night after 11:30pm and between 5am. I'm a heavy sleeper as well . Would rather have definitive proof to present because I will follow through on pressing charges and getting reimbursed for any damages.
I understand it's probably just teen's being stupid but I'm only 23 myself. Me and my friends NEVER messed with anyone's car's/property growing up and we were def not angels Kids where I live have nothing better to do but dumb **** like this.

4ch CCTV is cheap nowadays. Installation might be pita depending on the placements of cameras but it's def a good deterrence. Plus you can get apps on ur cellie if ur away from home. Or get a dummy camera. Wireless cameras suck, don't waste ur money.

Well I was hoping I could mount the camera up in a tree out of sight completely but wiring that would be a pita. I'd also need at least 150 ft of wire which would be pretty hard to conceal. I got so lucky it cracked on the drivers side window and not the door. Just yolk ran down the door but I cleaned that off pretty easily with a hot towel.

That sucks bro. My evo is under a car cover and in a heated garage. Both cars stand out fairly easily but the wing on the evo brings a lot more negative attention than I'm willing to risk.

The egg was on his Altima. This isn't about an Evo.

After having my cars egged numerous times,
I have a floodlight/video camera that is motion activated. It records to an sd memory card and cost about $130 at the local hardware store.
It's hardwired, so nice I can turn it off and on with a switch.
Pm me if you want the model number ect

I had a wireless and wouldn't go wireless again. usually these don't have good quality videos or audio because of all the potential for interference.

Just checked but the reviews don't look at that great. Thanks anyway though

Where do you have your camera mounted to? I see what you're saying about the wireless systems causing some issues. Makes sense. Please PM me some more details when you can. Thanks bro.
