c6 Corvette vs evo
Which C6, Z51, Z06..etc
Tires would would make a bigger difference on the Vette. It's night and day when you change from street tire to track tire on the C6. I would say a Z06 with sticky compond would get the edge.

i realize i am posting on evo forums, looking for unbaised answers cause i really don't know which car would win.
Edit: ^same driver, which car would have the faster lap time on laguna seca?
2nd edit: i'll assume 1 corvette vote = 4 evo votes lol

I have never been on Laguna Seca, but based on personal experience driving an evo on street tires with TBE, tune, intake & MBC on the tracks here in the NE I have never had trouble getting around any corvette (c6 or c6z) on street tires or even semi slicks like R888 or NT-01's. R-comps are a different story all together though. lol.
I would think a track with lots of fast sweepers and long straights would give an advantage to the corvette, but thats more like a drag racing than a road course.

I'd still say driver skill level(even the same driver) would play the biggest part. With a pro driver in both cars I may go with the Vette. Someone that has never been to a track before in both cars... I'd say the Evo. From what I remember of Luguna(Gran Turismo lol) there are some decent size stretches and not a ton of tight corners so I'd lean towards the Vette.
