sold evo ix and got 335 :(

I sold my evo ix se apx 2 years ago and got 335i, i thought i was making the right choice at that time. I drive to work everyday and the evo was a pain in traffic and that was the reason i pull the trigger on getting 335. If someone is thinking about doing that, think twice, the 335 is fast (i have stage1 cobb on mine) but its nothing like the evo, completely different car,the 335 is more comfortable, looks nicer inside, but i don't feel the raw power kicking me in the butt when i get on it. Is anyone here that went from evo to 335 and regret it?

Thanks

you are not alone. that is one regret of every evo owner that traded their evo for something else.

I sold my first IX to go back to just my RSX type-s after having a son... I quickly sold my RSX and got back on the evo train. Couldnt be happier.

The RSX was fun since it was Supercharged but nothing compares to the evo.

Almost sold my evo to get my buddies ls1 240sx... sooo glad I didn't. Seems to be the trend when people sell their evo.

Didn't get a 335, but I'm now on my 3rd Evo (8,10,9SE). I had a 350Z between the 8 and the 10 and regretted it (although I never admitted it at the time).

I was thinking of crossing over to an M3...but I've seen people regret that as well.

They are going to bury me in my 9SE lol.

looking for something better for commuting in traffic. Was considering a GTI, 135i or X, or something else with a duel clutch setup.

I had two new Evos(8 MR and IX) sold them, got a new 335i, sold it traded for a new C6 Z06, got another Evo (Evo IX SE).

Basically is just like what you described it. The 335i is much more refined and comfortable specially with the steptronic but you always miss a Evo. I am currently looking for my 4th one.

My 335i was a coupe and I purchased back in April of 2007(5 years ago)....I had the Vishnu tune piggy back procede v 1.4 and back then it was the best thing you could get.

One of the biggest mistakes i made was trading in my evo for a IS350. That was 4 years ago and im still mad about it.
