CBRD + GT-R = POWA! So it begins!
Well my gtr is getting some Cbrd love! What it entails? Is a mystery for me! Gave the keys to chad and said call me when your done! I'll let him chime in on details!

I'm almost as excited to see a GT-R go fast in a straight line as I am to see an evo go fast in a straight line. Yay POWAAA! Please tell me that your approach to this will be to build a BALANCED car? Ah, but I see you have no idea as to the end goal, as you simplly said, 'here Chad, please use my car and money as a marketing tool'. I'm sorry to come off like this, but as I saw your thread my palm flew to my forehead with the speed and force of a useless 800+whp evo. Please take your car back and go enjoy it. At least then you might have a chance to grow with it and have an idea as to it abilitys before you attempt to improve upon it.

I read this and immediately thought "What a hater!"
Then I stopped, thought about it and realized that you are partially (or more than) correct. Having owned a 500whp (not 800, I know) Evo, I realize that a bolt-on Evo is A LOT more fun than one built for straight line racing. When you put so much power into cars you ruin everything that they were built to do and it sucks. Going to any extreme with a car kind of sucks. If you build a track-only car you ruin the part that made it livable on the street.
At the same time, people who have the money for building cars such as this should be able to do so without being made to feel bad about it. I respect your opinion, and agree as every high horsepower car I've ever driven sucked. Yeah, they were fun in a straight line, but once you get to a certain power level, even that is hard to do and it's boring. It's exciting to go fast for 4-5 seconds at a time and then to have to sit in a car that is miserable at everything else it does for the remaining hours left in the day. Although, this might not be the time or place to talk about such thoughts as the OP was just introducing his car and the plans for it.
Must be nice for the OP to hand over a GT-R and say go nuts. I'm most certainly jealous of him in that respect.

Gtr's are far different than the Evo. You can make over 1000awhp on strait 93oct and daily drive it. The engine is big enough that without hitting boost it has a good amount of power.

With the gtr's transmission and super quick no power loss shifting makes it a remarkable platform to improve upon. From my experiance you would need an evo with a extra 100 hp over the gtr's hp just to keep up with it. Even though the gtr has a huge wieght disadvantage the transmission more than makes up for it. And marketing tool, Cbrd has made parts for the r35 platform since 2009 and there radiators were actually utilized by Ams on all there alpha gtr's and there 1600hp alpha omega. Cbrd will be taking one of the fastest production cars made and make it better. I have no doubt in my mind that what they have planned will be nothing less than an all around awesome machine. The car will go to the track and drag strip. Not to mention I daily drive this also.
Well , I can say this you made a nice choice in a shop for your GTR project. I've seen their work up and close and met the guy's there and excellent is all I can say.
P.S. I forgot to say this other little thing THE CLEANEST SHOP I HAVE EVER SEEN!!
