93 Supra MKIV build
Hey everyone name is Andrew and i've decided to start my build thread to share with everyone on EvoM since i used to have an evo 9 a few years back. Purchased the supra about 7 months ago with 34k original miles no mods. It's a 93 MKIV 6spd TT. Ill post some pics from the day i got her until now. Currently the car is at E-Shift Performance in NJ getting some tasteful mods. Should be running within 2 weeks but the build won't be over until i say about may-june.
On the car now:
HKS Carbon TI catback
ETS 4" FMIC kit
TiAL 50mm BOV
AEM v2
Work Emotion CR Kai Wheels
Wings West Front lip
Parts being installed as we speak:
Custom turbo kit
GT4088-R 85mm housing T4
Tial 44mm Wastegate
Custom manifold and downpipe
Custom oil and water lines
Custom aluminium piping
Toyota head set (includes all seals and gaskets)
ARP head stud
BC 272 cams (intake and exhaust)
BC springs and retainers kit
Clutchmaster Stage 3 kit
HKS DLI ingnition for AEM
AEM boost regulator
Mishimoto Radiator
Stoptech slotted rotors w/ hawk pads
Supra when i first got it


Supra Exterior now:


Now onto the build as of today 12/10/2012:
Head is off at the machine shop for hot tank cleaning.

Transmission out of the car

Getting into the rear main seal to be changed it was leaking.
On the car now:

There are just so few bone stock, low mile ones left in existence it is a little painful to watch one be torn down so it can be modified. At the same time, I always enjoy Supra build threads!! You have to make baller money to modify Supras. Good luck OP!!!

Well I wanted to stay bpu with exhaust and intake but my stock twins failed major shaft play and leaking oil. Second reason is my valve stem seals were leaking badly causing it to burn a lot of oil and changing the seals require the cams spring and retainers to be taken out anyway. Third my front and rear main seals were also leaking. I felt this way was more cost effective and I will have a little more fun with the car.
It's way more fun now with bolt-on parts, but we're all car guys so the quest for more power will always be there
.Right now I'm parts hoarding in my garage to go big single.
