What did you give up for your RA?

Just curious from everyone what they gave up to get their RA.

I technically gave up my Honda Element, but realistically, I owned a 03 OZ for about a month before I bought my RA.

I gave up my Cavalier. I know I know, laugh it up....but it was a decent car, and I did a lot of work to it. Full suspension, intake, exhaust, great stereo setup....not too fast, but it handled well. It just sucked on normal roads. Since I bought it brand new in '02, I took a decent hit on the payoff too.

But it was worth it!!!! I love the RA.

I crashed my truck and wanted to get a car......i considered some other cars though : Mazda 6 (loaded v6) the evo....(i have plenty of tickets already) honda civic.....(no not really) Overall the RA is a sweet looking and driving car, not as fast as some others, but for the money it is a sweet deal, i also liked the fact that it is pretty quiet driving wise compared to some other 4 cycl. cars (sunfire, cavalier.....etc)

Moncef, didn't you find it hard to give up your hatch...
I remember selling my 91 hatch with B16A I did all
the work myself and man was it hard to see it go.

I really don't intend to be rude but out of all seriousness, if you spent $25,000.00 on mods..why didn't you just get a nicer newer or used car like a supra or rx7 or whatever (at the time)...it always amazes me when people spend that much on a car like that...atleast you would have gotten more for your trade...know what I mean...not ripping on your car but if I had the money I would have traded my mr2 spyder for a Lotus Elise that is coming out here in a month or so...but I wanted to lower my payments ...I was just curious...not trying to pick a fight...

I am going to drive my car for about 18months and trade it in or sell it to get either the 05 Eclipse (if it turns out to be what I hope) or the Infinity G35 coupe. Time will tell though. Also, I gave up driving my 94 Talon TSi, but I still have it.

and btw it hurt to get rid of it.....but thats what i do ....i like to fix them up real nice race them them sell them lol

I gave up my 1965 dodge dart that my dad and I built from the ground up. It had 650rwhp and was just getting too expensive to drive around, plus with the winters I have here at school it is kind of hard to get a car with a lot of torque to stop moving. I would have to shift into neutral every time I came to a stop because my back end would come around. I still love that car(and own it, back home) but the RA is a very nice car.
