3-5 years. It definitely doesn't come off that easily.

My brother DD's his GG matte clear dipped Evo IX MR, and it's been on for over 2 months now with no problems! I clean it with a pressure washer or a basic wash at a touch free car wash and it looks better than new after! I don't even use soap when I pressure wash it and it looks amazing.
