Brave Auto imports a ton of cars to Canada! And they have had excellent reviews. I'd check them out.

I had the most horrid experince with JAPAN PARTNER INC.This company is a scam and I would not recommend it even to my worst enemy. The company has a user agreement that allows them to scam people with no consequenses. If you value your money and your sanity, dont buy with them, they will take your money and simply frustrate you untill you give up chasing what you were buying from them. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! You can follow my experiences and also others with similar horror stories at japanpartnereview.com.

Japan partner is just a exporter. They put the car on the ship and wash their hands of it. They do not handle US customs brokerage, or a million other things that need to be done to bring a car into the US.

Here's a quote from their website:

"We sell our cars only to those customers from USA that already had previous experience of importing japanese vehicles to USA and are aware of the whole procedure of its importing."

In other words... "You're on your own once we get our money and have proof the car is on the ship"

the company I used was japenseusedcars.com. I found a car on goo-net.com and the rep from Japaneseusedcars.com did all the work and sent Bill of Lading and Bill of sale to me with all the other paper work. Went to harbor and picked car up after paying taxes and what not. But all this was done in Korea and he does ship to USA as well. And to correct the previous posts. All cars that are older than 25 years up to the month is legal for import. 95-98 r33 are legal for import as well i believe. but still doing research on that

R33s are only legal if the proper modifications have been made by the RI (while bonded) to meet EPA and DOT standards. But just a warning The feds got so burned by the motorex fiasco that anything with "skyline" associated with it is under intense scrutiny and not worth the hassle. They are seriously cracking down on all grey market vehicles.

In fact the feds just held a press conference at a junk yard where they destroyed a car in front of the press saying how they are committed to keep these "dangerous" vehicles off the road. I think the video is on jelopnik if you wish to take a look
