Beast! If you don't mind sharing, what do those go for nowadays?

Also what kind of fuel mileage are you getting in that thing?

The price varies greatly depending on the year, condition, mileage, and model. You can check eBay for estimates. (which is where I got mine) As far as mpg, it does pretty bad in the city, but not as bad as you think. Around 10-12 city, and up to 18 on the highway depending on how fast you go. More realistically 15mpg highway if you go 70mph which is all the faster I'd take it since it weighs about 8500lb.

not bad! congrats! I saw one in the dealership I bought my range rover sport and they were offering $40k but it had 80k miles. the testdrive after I drove it was epic. let's just say they have to power wash the tires and wheelwells!

please post more pics? yours looked liked a best kept sample.

which part of MI? I'm in Saginaw for work!

Needs more Monster logos, shocker stickers, and grenade silhouettes. Maybe some period-correct No Fear stickers.

I was in the Army long before these came out. Where I work now we have several military issue types that were excess. I thought they would be porky beasts that were under powered and got stuck easy because of their weight.

For a natural aspirated dog they do damned well in the off road stuff. We had some flooding a short while back here in the Cali desert. There was a place on the range that had what looked like a shallow pool of standing water. The guy who was driving the hummer decided to go through it to show me how good they did in the mud. Well as he drove in the front dropped off until the water almost came over the hood no joke, and this without a fording kit on it.

I thought sure it was all over at that time. A couple of slight back and forth turns of the wheel and it just kept crawling right out of the muck. Any other vehicle I have seen would have been stuck and needing to be pulled out at that time.

So congrats on getting quite the urban assault vehicle! Hope you have a lot of fun with it.
